We’ve got a HUGE weekend coming up at Gamefight Wakefield, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring everyone together for some incredible Jiu-Jitsu!
Friday 7th February - Seminar with Professor Mabsy
We’re kicking things off with a very special seminar on Friday with none other than Professor Mabsy 'Tiozinho' Alam! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from a 3rd-degree black belt, and we’ll be diving deep into half guard—a position that can be a game-changer for both kids and adults.

Adults seminar: 7:00-9:00 PM
I highly encourage everyone to get involved! Whether you’re just starting or already deep into your Jiu-Jitsu journey, this is a chance to sharpen your skills and pick up details from one of the best!
Sunday 9th February - Kids Gamefight Interclub
On Sunday, we take the energy to Bradford Gamefight for the Kids Gamefight Interclub! This is an amazing event where our young warriors from Dewsbury, Leeds, Wakefield, and Bradford will come together for friendly competition and experience-building. Almost 20 students will be attending from Wakefield alone, which is amazing!
It’s always incredible to see the kids test themselves in a supportive environment, and I know we’re going to see some amazing performances, great sportsmanship, and most importantly—HUGE smiles all around! 💪
We are beyond excited for our teams to come together under one roof. These events are about more than just winning matches—they’re about growing as martial artists, supporting each other, and having fun as a team.
Parents, coaches, and teammates, let’s bring the energy, the support, and the passion that makes Gamefight such a special community!
